This post might get a little geeky so don't let it put you off!
I know from analytic stats on the blog that a large number of you read the blog on a mobile or tablet, and of those (75%) are reading iOS (Apple's mobile operating system), with the release of iOS 9 Apple introduced the News app, if you haven't checked it out then I recommend it its very good!
In March, Apple opened up the app so that anyone can publish to the News App including bloggers. I use
I am sure many of you that take part in #MYSUNDAYPHOTO have had this thought in the past, I took a photo during the week and then posted this straight to my Instagram account and then wished that I had saved it for the blog!
You know when you have those weeks where you want to escape....... well this is where I wanted to go this weekend, a place we found a few weeks ago when in Pembrokeshire (I do love this part of the world).
No I am not about to start a sales pitch for BT..... but think about it, it really is good to talk!
Think about the times you have sat down with a family member or friend or even a fellow blogger (like I recently did), that you haven't seen for ages, doesn't it just feel really good after you have had a chat and a catch up?
Despite having a couple of DSLR my go to camera when I am out and about is still my iPhone 6s and no doubt this is the same for many! I have been wanting to go to London this summer late at night and do a photo walk around the city and grab some of the amazing views it has to offer.
During the week I often find myself in London and it is not appropriate for me to carry my DSLR around with me hence why I like to grab a quick picture whilst walking between meetings and grabbing an image of London life.
This weekend I went to BritMums or #BML16 as they called it this year! A couple of people see me snapchatting and were confused about where to even start.
Snapchat has to be one of the fastest growing social networks around (I have no evidence to prove this but take my word for it), I get why, it is not just for the youth to share naked pictures of themselves on (it got some bad press about this at the beginning), but has
If you are not a geek like me but do like to know what is coming to your iPhone and other Apple devices later this year, I will try and give you a brief update of what was announced at the worldwide developer conference today!
I will start with the most common operating system and this is iOS, the software that your iPhone and iPad will be running on.
This week has been a busy one but yesterday me and little geek went for a walk around Epoing Foresr timing it just about right to avoid getting totally soaked!
We stared with a walk around Connaught Water, a lake on the edge of Epping Forwest a stones throw from Chingford.
My work takes me all over the place in the UK, recently went to Winchester and was in awe of the architecture there, so much that I want to go back and explore more! But whilst there for a meeting this week I managed to grab this shot whilst walking through Winchester College!
You may have clicked on this post wondering what the hell this is going to be about, well let's be clear from the start this is about Rhinos!
I've only ever seen them in a zoo or wildlife park but one day
I seem to say this every week but I will get back in to my blogging flow soon, I have had another busy week with work but managed to grab some great pictures of Edinburgh, check them out here!
I was sorting my suitcase out this week and one of my personal business cards fell on to the bed, and thought it looked good in this light, but it is also reflects a thought I have been having regarding social media this week.
This is becoming a common excuse, but work has been busy and had very little time to either get out and take pictures, except when I have my phone! .....
I love it when a little plan comes together!
The bank holiday presented an opportunity for me and little geek to go to Wales and spend some quality father and daughter time, it used to be father and daughters time but the teen ....... oh hang on she is 20 now I cant call her that! (any suggestions for nick names....??) as I was saying the teen used to come with us but that is boring these days!
Of late work has been very busy, so have had little spare time along with a couple of trips away, to Barcelona (more on that here) and to Pembrokeshire, has meant that my list of series and films to watch on Netflix is growing!
I cannot believe that a week has gone (almost) since we came back from Pembrokeshire! I have been trying to get out 2 blog posts all week but I have not had the energy to get the completed! April is a crazy time of year for work and all my mental strength has been going towards that this week leaving nothing left for the blog!
We have been in Pembrokeshire since Friday for a nice long weekend, been nice spending time exploring the area that we already know very well.
The only good day weather wise has been on Friday when we stopped in St Davids and also went on a boat tour of Ramsey Island.
