My #tbt is to a picture of me looking very different holding Katy who had only been born a few hours previous!!! Yes I used to have hair! Also of Ash looking like a proud big sister.... although gutted Katy wasn’t a boy
A very humbling experience today! Thanks to my friend Debs for setting up this opportunity and for Jonathan the CEO of @ldnairamb for showing us around! Please go and give their social media accounts a follow and support them where you can! Had the opportunity to learn so much about this valuable charity, here to support the people and visitors of London! I have so much more I want to say but will share that in a blog!! #london #emergencymedicine #forthepeople #valuable
Last night I made the mistake of mentioning to the teen that I see a Mini Schnauzer in a shop and how nice it was! This morning we were presented with a 15 page proposal on why they are a good dog for us, history and how much care is required! Is anyone else being badgered by the family to get a dog?? Who has a dog and both parents work full time???
A few days away with the wife, our anniversary on Monday and it’s important to take time out and spend time with just us two!!
Sat here in my hotel room, no not at the hotel in the pictures, that is now just a memory.... but great ones! I will pull together a post on that but this is just a few shots to remind me of the warmth and relaxation of last week!!
•••So a little story about my trip to Rhodes this week.••• We had a hire car and for a few days we went off exploring the island, on our first day out we came across this little village in the hills, we stumbled across this picturesque village / town square. It was run down as you can see from these pictures with most of the buildings run down except for the Church. A bit of research once arriving home and turns out it was an old town built buy the Italians, the orange / yellow building used to be a solarium for people with TB, the really run down building was a market! Next time I go back I am going to explore more with whoever it maybe developed by then!
This morning I opened the blind and the view I could see could not have been anymore different to this!! Been back a couple of days and already missing the sun and blue sky and you just know it’s going to be a long autumn / winter!
Such a great day in Symì! A gorgeous little port town for lunch and the most amazing weather!! Included a walk up a very very steep hill to a church to light a couple of candles which in 30c+ heat was no easy task!! Nearly back at the hotel now and ready for some dinner and a drink
