Too much to watch on Netflix!

Of late work has been very busy, so have had little spare time along with a couple of trips away, to Barcelona (more on that here) and to Pembrokeshire, has meant that my list of series and films to watch on Netflix is growing!

To start with I wanted to sit down with Little Geek and watch Kung Fu Panda and Kung Fu Panda 2 again, it has been a while since I watched these , which are both currently available ahead of going to the cinema to see the final part of the trilogy!

Two further films on my list that I have yet to watch are:

Still Alice: A story about a linguistics professor who is diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, this story follows how her happy marriage changes when she starts to forget words and more as the disease takes hold! Julianne Moore stars in this, but I hope you know that following her Oscar, BAFTA and Golden Globe awards!

This is even a film I think the wife would love, but the chances of me getting her to watch a film are slim..... very slim!

Django Unchained: I do love a Tarantino film, this is one that caught in the cinema but really want to watch again, Jamie Foxx was brilliant in this!  The film centres on a freed slave with the help of a German Bounty hunter, sets out to rescue his wife from a Mississippi plantation owner!

As for series that I am due to catch up on, they include:

  • Better call Saul - I am on the second series of this, well 1 episode in but still liking it, a good concentrated
  • Gotham - I have started this series but there are a few series I need to get through!
  • Shadow Hunters - After being nagged by Ashleigh to read these books, I am intrigued to see what the TV series is like!
  • Daredevil season 2 - Loved the first season, hoping this has more to offer!
  • Peaky Blinders - I am very late to the party on this one ......  I know its a bit gruesome but thats about it!
  • Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt Season 2 - If you haven't checked out the first I highly recommend you do! One of the funniest US comedies I have watched in a while! The new series of this drops on 15th April and I am really looking forward to this!
  • Grace and Frankie - A very funny US based comedy, I wouldn't say this is the typical program I would go for but glad I did, very happy that it is back for season 2 on 6th May!

Anew series that has started streaming on Netflix is The Ranch!

The show follows Colt’s (Ashton Kutcher) return home after a brief and failed semi- pro football (not proper football... American Football 😜) career to run the family ranching business with his older brother Jameson “Rooster” (Danny Masterson) and father Beau (Sam Elliott), whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years, Debra Winger stars as Colt’s and Jimmy’s mother, Maggie, who runs the local town bar.

Check out my other Netflix posts here, and do leave a comment if there is anything you are currently watching that I should be aware of!
